Is there anything more annoying than the slow blink of the cursor?

Taunting you - Why aren’t you writing something???

Shall I complain that inflation eroded my savings faster than I planned? No. You live it. Who wants to read about it?

Shall I lament the struggles of the self-published writer? No. You don’t want to hear someone whining about that either.

As I have told you many times, let’s focus on the positive.

At the beginning of this month, I released a chronicle of short stories entitled Through the Mist: Christmas Eve. The stories follow Allan Campbell, Tilly Munro Campbell, and Charlotte Rhodes as they celebrate the holiday. Each character has a unique story to tell.

With Tilly, we see how she has settled into her new life. The conversation she has with Benjamin could have happened in any century. You’ll probably relate! We also see the fire of their romance simmering beneath the surface.

Allan’s story offers us a deeper look into a character who has not been explored much in previous books from the Through the Mist series. We see the first flutters of teenage love through his eyes.

Charlotte's story is perfect for you if you want a warm and fuzzy romance. In the last book, we discovered who her new beau was. As you read about their first Christmas together, you will share in the warmth of a “true love at last” tale.

You can find the book at amazon.com/author/creneefreeman. Enjoy either an ebook or paperback. Since it is a collection of short stories, you can easily breeze through it – perfect for a summer read!

All of the books in the Through the Mist series are affordably priced. When we are all pinching pennies, it is nice to know you can still find a deal on something, right?

I have more books planned for the Through the Mist series. I also have a contemporary romance percolating in the background. Stay tuned to this website and my Facebook page for more updates.

Take that, damn cursor! I wrote something!
